How it works

The free hosting business creation journey, start to finish.

This page walks through what it actually means to create a hosting business on Devu.services — the four stages involved, what each one depends on, and where the platform currently stands against them.

The core idea

This is not a hosting account. It is a hosting business.

When you buy shared hosting, you become a customer of somebody else's business. You choose from their plans, pay their prices, and see their brand on everything. You are the buyer in the transaction.

On Devu.services the position is reversed. You create a hosting business with a brand of its own, decide which services it offers, and set what those services cost. The people who buy from you are your customers — and the platform underneath is simply the operating layer that makes running it possible without you having to build it yourself.

That reversal is the entire product. Every feature on this site exists to support it.

The distinction

Traditional shared hosting

You are the customer. Their brand, their catalogue, their prices.

Devu.services

You are the operator. Your brand, your catalogue, your prices.

The four stages

What the journey looks like.

Stages one to three are the core product being built right now. Stage four depends on capabilities that are still planned. The badge on each stage tells you which is which.

01Coming Soon
Create the business — free
You are setting up a company, not signing up for an account.
The first move is creating a hosting business on the free starting plan. That means naming it, giving it an identity, and establishing it as something that exists in its own right — separate from you as an individual and separate from Devu.services as a platform.
No payment details required to begin
The free plan is an entry point, not a countdown
Your business is distinct from the platform providing it
02Coming Soon
Define what you sell
Build the catalogue your market actually wants.
A hosting business is only as good as the services it offers. You define individual services, organise them into categories, and write the descriptions your buyers will read. The catalogue is yours to reshape as the market tells you what it wants.
Add and organise services freely
Group them into clear categories
Rewrite descriptions as you learn what converts
03Coming Soon
Set your prices
You are the operator, so the price list is yours.
Pricing is where most reseller relationships break down — you inherit somebody else's margins. On Devu.services you decide what each service costs, so the economics of the business belong to you rather than to a wholesale supplier.
Price each service independently
Adjust pricing as demand changes
Structure plans around what you are actually providing
04Planned
Serve customers and grow
Bring people in, manage them in one place, then go further.
Once customers arrive, you manage them from one place and keep the business organised. As it outgrows the free starting plan, premium capabilities — higher limits, additional resources and premium tools — become the intended path forward.
Customer records in one place
Resource and plan management as you scale
Premium upgrades planned for businesses that need more
